From the 18th to the 19th century: maps that are more precise

After a period with no particular breakthrough, near the end of the 17th century until the middle of the 18th century, lunar cartography progresses due to the technology developments in relation to the conditions of observations. The selenographers are much more interested in the details of the lunar topography and general maps. Encyclopedias, are soon proposing precise regional maps of the Moon, which figures topographic data with more details.
